When you receive the Seal you will see the sign of global warming and recognize it as the sign of the approaching end-times. And you will prepare yourself spiritually to meet God. A new study was published in January in the journal Global Change Biology. In this study the researchers show that increasing amounts of carbon dioxide in the air are acting upon forests by delaying the changing colors and falling leaves in the fall.
Previous studies have shown that the rising carbon dioxide levels are causing earlier growth in the forests in the spring. This study shows that the later fall experience is also happening because of more carbon dioxide. The researchers studied forests in North America and Europe to come to the conclusions. The carbon dioxide boost may help the trees grow a little more each year but that additional growth is likely to be stopped by factors like increased ozone close to earth.
Carbon dioxide is blamed as the main "greenhouse gas" in causing global warming where the earth traps in the heat of the sun like a greenhouse. This global warming has started and has steadily increased for nearly 10 to 20 years. In some areas the trees might get a little extra help in growing more during their growing season. But the bad effects of carbon dioxide and global warming are already being felt elsewhere on earth.
The delicate balance of the ecosystem of the earth is being disturbed and that imbalance is already expressing itself in a rising amount of natural disasters. There are more droughts and floods, more wildfires and more severe windstorms like hurricanes.
Never before in recorded history has there been any record of as many natural disasters as have occurred in the past 20 years. And pollution like CO2 pours out in great amounts from big polluters like America and China. America uses a lot of coal to produce power. Coal is the biggest producer of CO2 pollution in America, followed by the exhaust from automobiles. New technology can eventually replace these outdated sources of energy.
But America has not made much of an effort to switch to clean energy. And in this election year of 2008 precious little has been heard about the issue of climate change from any of the candidates.
America will not change unless sweeping changes in policy come from the Federal government. And since that is not a priority for anyone at this time the pollution will continue increasing. It does not matter whose fault global warming is. And it does not matter what kinds of projections are currently predicting any more climate change. The only thing that matters is what God has to say about it.
And God spoke through the Words of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. Jesus told a simple parable of a fig tree. When the fig tree starts to blossom, you know that summer is approaching. That "summer" approaching is how Jesus described the end-times.
His disciples had asked Him about the end of the world and He replied with the simple parable. And now in this generation the fig tree is blossoming. The summer is approaching. The earth is steadily getting warmer, turning winter into summer. When you are sealed you will see the sign of the "summer" of the end of the world as Jesus Himself taught. And you will prepare yourself spiritually to meet God when you receive the Seal.
