Words Have Power
I believe the reason you are not living your life's purpose, the reason you are not having an abundance of everything in your life, the reason you are not experiencing peace in every area of your life, is because of the words you are speaking.
Whether you realize it or not “WORDS” are what causes manifestation and creation in your life. Take a look at your bible. Go to Genesis 1st chapter 3rd verse, “And God SAID, “Let there be light.” And there was light.
Genesis 1:6 “And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
Genesis 1: 9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.
Genesis 1:11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
When God was creating the earth, God SPOKE the words, and it was so.
Now, if you remember a few weeks back I discussed with you the story of Jesus and the fig tree (this is in Mark Chapter 11). For those of you who don’t remember the story, Jesus was hungry and saw a fig tree. But when he got to the fig tree, there weren’t any figs on the tree so Jesus cursed the fig tree and said that no one will ever eat fruit from you again.
The very next day, Jesus and the Disciplines were walking down that same road and walked past the fig tree and it was all dried up.
Why was it dried up?
Because Jesus spoke the WORD and the WORD manifested over night.
You have the exact power to do the exact same thing and whether you realize it or not—YOU ARE DOING THE SAME THING.
Your WORDS are manifesting in your life EVERY SINGLE DAY.
The only ‘problem’ is that you are not CONSCIOUS of the words you are speaking.
When you say things like, “I’m broke.” “I don’t believe I will ever be able to do it.” “I’m stupid.” “I’m so dumb.” “I am never going to succeed.” “I don’t see that happening for me.” “I always find guys/girls that are unfaithful.” “I will never be able to start my own business.” “I am fat and will never lose this weight.” “I am not as good as they are at that.” “I’m a loser.”
When you speak these negative words, YOU are the one that is causing all the things that you are speaking to manifest in your life. YOUR WORDS ARE CREATIVE AND CAUSE MANIFESTATION IN YOUR LIFE.
When you speak positive things, positive things happen in your life. When you speak negative things, negative things happen in your life.
YOUR ARE THE CREATOR OF YOUR DESTINIES.
Don’t kid yourself into thinking, “well, I’m just saying words—they are only ‘words’ nothing else.”
Words have power.
God spoke WORDS and was able to create heavens and the earth.
WORDS HAVE POWER.
ACTION POINT: From this second forward, become conscious of the words you speak. Do not say ANYTHING negative about yourself or about others. Because when you do, you are cursing yourself and others. If a situation is happening in your life and you don’t like the situation, don’t speak on it. If you HAVE to speak on it, speak positively about it. Find something positive to say about it.
For example, don’t say, “I’m broke.” Instead, say, “at the moment I am unable to buy such and such.” You can take it even further and say, “But shortly I will be able to buy anything I desire.”
If you feel yourself being a little under the weather, don’t say, “I’m coming down with something.” Because you are speaking it into existence. Just don’t say anything. And if you feel the need to say something, say “I’m NOT coming down anything.”
Now, you can argue with me and say, “well, Dawn, what you are asking me to do is lie. I am broke and can’t afford it. I am coming down with something because I feel sick”
And I will say to you, it’s only a lie because you don’t believe it. If you BELIEVE it, it won’t be a lie and shortly you will be able to buy anything that you desire. If you don’t say that you are sick and proclaim good health and believe it, you will see that whatever you felt disappears.
See, it’s all in the words and in your BELIEF.
I’m not just making this stuff up. I’m not just saying it because it sounds good. I’m not just saying it because I want you to like me or because it makes you feel good. I’m saying it because it is GOD’s WORD. Look it up in the bible if you don’t believe me. I’m just a messenger passing the word onto you because God has spoken to me and told me that I am to teach these things to you this year. See, this year we are going to have break through. This year you are going to be blessed with peace in your life. This year you are going to discover and life God’s purpose for your life. This year you will become unstoppable. You will be blessed and will be a blessing to others. I believe this with all my heart and I will do what I am led to do by teaching what God lays on my heart to teach. In the mighty name of Jesus.
